In the mean time, I moved forward with replacing my old work horse: blackpearl.
Computer Problems
New Asus Motherboard, no pins damaged
AMD 3970 Threadripper
Processor mounted
4 sticks of 32GB memory. I tried 1 memory stick at a time , last try with 2 sticks onboard
Original problem was stuck on VGA White Light This time I get a different error message. It cycles through Memory, CPU, VGA lights and eventually ends with Yellow DRAM and Red CPU both lit
